Concerning MK's evidence

by Wildphotographer

First, let me say on behalf of MK Davis, a seriously felt thank you to all who stood by him in this last (of many yet to come) shouting match over his newest findings. Here is what we have in a nutshell. (MK has suggested to me that ALL be made known prior to the DVD release through s secured chat room).

He has, in my opinion, solid evidence that this is no man in a suit. He has, again in my opinion, solid evidence that this is no ape or ape like creature as we know apes. It is DEFINITELY NOT Gigantopithecus blacki. His color enhancements CLEARLY show what is believed by MK to be a fabricated tool in the left hand of the creature which is dropped. His closeups of the body of the creature, in my opinion, shows what is likely Caucasoid skin showing through a ragged, patchy covering of hair, not a smooth, continuous coat of fur as is usually deduced by most when viewing the film. And, there are facial and cranial features that virtually eliminate any speculation as to the creature's true classification.

Now, having said enough above to start the pixxing contest all over again, I am obligated to add the following:
On the DVD there will be segments devoted to the study of the type of equipment and film Patterson was using when he made the original images. There will also be a study of how MK uses image enhancement in astral photography and how it lead him to take on the Patterson film. In addition to that I am searching for a quotable authority to speak to the importance of proper image enhancement and how it was applied to the Hubble Telescope images. I hope to find that person right here at the University of South FLorida. These seemingly unrelated subjects MUST be understood before we can effectively explain the interpretations of the Patty film. As a photographer with more than 30 years experience in the handling and processing of both chemical and digital images I urge you to accept these segments as necessary for understanding what is on the original 16mm film. However, if "enhancement" just means "fixing things to show things you want to be there but aren't really there" then no matter what we present, your mind will remain closed. Open your minds.

With the delays caused by the negative dicussion of the last few days and an upgrade and reconfiguration of my editing computer, the DVD will be delayed until late next week at the earliest. However, it is my belief that it will be well worth the wait. This, in fact, may be the catalyst that unlocks funding for further research in the North West USA because funding agencies will know that they are not chasing a man in a suit.

Patience people.
