I've found many old cans, pans, pots, buckets, etc. while hiking the area, many with sharp torn sides so IMO there is an ample supply of weapons material within the area. But are they smart enough to know how to use it? Granted we are their entertainment and have probably shown them how on many occasions..... Personally I think they use sticks for digging and know they use them to indicate their presence, but don't believe they fabricate cutting tools from found metal objects, yet..... then again how are these feeder ropes being cut so cleanly and for so long??????
