MH - You mentioned that the BF may have been in bi-pedal mode. That would explain the "arch" in the step....and may also better-explain the other impression I'm seeing:
I was thinking "younger"/"smaller" BF on the impression I see. Seems this could be knuckle prints instead....with the smooth "toe" areas actually being the front edge of the knuckles.
The placement outside the left foot would match physical characterists of a BF - being broad shouldered.
So, it rained and then a BF trod through the area some time later.
