I have been continuing to re-read all of the information available on the Iceman and Frank Hansen. At another site http://home.clara.net/rfthomas/papers/showman.html there is an article that contains the transcript of an interview with Hansen by Ian Simmons. In that interview, Hansen states that he was approached at a show by a gentlemen who gave me his Confidential Buisness Card. I immediately recognised his name

'Tom Slick was a recognisable name at that time and most likely would not have been a recognised face. Tom, to my knowledge, has yet to be identified as one of the players at bluff creek, but we all know of his interest in the subject.

Tom was also an inventor and has 3 patents issued to him. One of his patents, a brush puller,http://www.google.com/patents?vid=2535099 has been very beneficial to the timber industry, especially those that have referenced this patent in creating their own. Look at the tree puller for instance,http://www.google.com/patents/about?id=QaAwAAAAEBAJ than move on to the whole tree extractor,http://www.google.com/patents/about?id=YyctAAAAEBAJ low and behold, its the good old Weyerhauser Company.

Now theres an interesting connection. Tom Slick the Yeti hunter, invents a device that paves a way to quickly and efficiently remove trees and stumps from the ground. Weyerhauser the deforestation Company, invents a way to quickly and efficiently remove big hairy two-legged creatures from their lands (allegedly).
Is there any more to the story?
