Playing devil's advocate on the film, I'd point out that once a body has bled-out, there's no more blood to spill. Also, with only 1/2 a body, there's less blood TO spill.
One COULD argue that the death occurred a some distance away and that this is where the body ended up.
I'd go along with that arguement except that the body is cut too cleanly in half and (I feel) the internal organs should be spread/hanging out a bit more. With the aforementioned "neat" shirt, hair, and clean arm.......
btw - Ever see that picture of the bear-attack victim some years ago? That body was mangled up pretty good and stripped of much of the clothing.
The scene is much to clean.
