Farm grade Diesel does have a red tint .

The type you buy at a gas station has a yellowish green hue to it.
Most contractors just somebody down to the local gas station with a 5 gallon few cans and a credit card and tell them to fill em up.
That is unless somebody has a big pickup mounted pump but that would be a heavy load to haul on those muddy logging roads and I don't even know if they had started making those back then.
Also the red diesel is the untaxed diesel that they mainly use on farms and you had better not get caught using that in any vehicle that utilizes a road or you are subject to some mighty big fines!
