We do quite a bit of outside work around the youth ranch here in Manatee County, FL with the youth on property. We will need to be more vigilent in our observation of these kids. They seem to want to play with the snakes we find and I have told them the rhyme that lets you know if you are seeing a coral snake or a king snake(Red on Black friend of Jack....) But with a lack of available antivenom, we can't be too sure. We are constantly on the look out for the Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake, they are thick as thieves here and hide in the palmettos.
