I usually use nightcrawlers instead of lures. I was thinking maybe live shiners would work well for the bass? Man, there sure are a lot of fish beds...some the diameter of big rig truck tires. Next time I go shopping at Wallyworld I'll check out the lures. The ponds that I'm fishing at have a good supply of tilapia too.The tilapia are usually easy fish to catch with nightcrawlers but this pond's fish are turning them down. My fishin buddy has had luck with lures with them...go figure. All the adult fish in this pond look like they are on steroids.LOL
Btw...you say sweet musty smell dealing with bream? What's with that?
I've been so use to fishing saltwater all my life and starting to fish freshwater the last few years for the fun of it so it's new to me.
