Yeah, somewhere I heard a retired tree-feller say that Weyerhauser did some pretty
terrible things but he stopped short of saying what that was. So maybe they are in fear
of their lives; but Green and Dahinden live in Canada. Weyerhauser couldn't really touch
them there and why would Gimlin keep his family around that kind of threat? And Mrs. Patterson?
No, I think there is something else going on.
Like for instance, Beckjord's copy showing Green and them hold that child down for Titmus
to skin out and other copies showing bodies (plural) in the ditch they dug out with
Charlie Whitson's backhoe.
Green is more afraid for his own reputation than he is with Weyerhauser.
Of course, Rowland guy talked about the organized crime aka the Syndicate
and we know Green's father was hell-bent on ridding Vancouver of its Orientals;
who better to run 'em out than organized crime bosses.
Rowland or whatever his name was, called Green a member of the Syndicate.
I'd be more afraid of them than Weyerhauser, unless they use them too.
