Is a pheromone chip.
The slightly higher pic is probably due to the fact that the cam was mounted on a tree and it was breezy so the tree itself could have bowed a bit with the wind, the tree as I recall was a white oak about 40 feet tall with a trunk about 1 ft thick.
The monster in the pic as I showed everybody is looking straight at the pheromone chip as well.
Here is the pic again below with the chip circled as well as the monster with a line drawn along the monsters head position and line of sight.
