Went 4 wheeling this weekend in southern Rapides Parish. We're sitting at the campsite listening to the saints game, it's been dark for about thirty or forty minutes now... when a short scream of about two seconds let out from about a quarter of a mile or less to the north. I hear it along with another in the group, everyone else is engrossed in the game. Finally and sadly the game ended so I head over to my generator to gas it up for the night with another guy from the group. This next scream was very clear and a little bit longer, same location, but a little closer. The guy with me looks at me with this look on his face! Did you hear that? Yep! What the hell was that? So I said l lets go see! Where, in the woods? Yeh! Short story, I was by myself and moved into the woods a ways and sat for a while...nothing...for the rest of the night! I figure like Dewey the Expert says " They'll smoke us up sometime tonight!" May have stumbled on a bedding area while trail riding the next day in that general area...dont know for sure, no hair or tracks etc...
