I knock doors and ask if they happen to know who owns the property...sometimes yes and sometimes no but if it's that simple to locate through tax records on line...that is exactly what I would do unless I was in the area...I like knocking on doors but here's a good piece of advice...before you bail out of your vehicle you might want to blow the horn to check for dogs...I do that and one time the dogs came out from under the house looked like a swarm of pixxed off wasps...
