you tell what family an animal is in, but rather what species. Supposedly one species cannot mate with another and produce offspring. For example, a chimp and a gorilla can't produce any offspring. However, science has now discovered some species that can cross breed, such as lions and tigers, and several others. I've had a lot of training in biological sciences and anthropology in college, but regardless of what was taught in the courses, I have not seen any real evidence to support evolution (from one species to another) or that humans are animals instead of a special creation by God. I learned the information I was supposed to in order to make good grades and pass to get my degrees, but like I said, the evidence is not there. Evolution is the once science that has not been required to follow the scientific method.
