For the past few months we have been averaging about 13 or so reports a month.
That is double the normal 5 or 6.
Just a guess on my part, but I would say that the unusually warm weather either has them fired up, or, more people out in the woods.
Your guess is as good as mine, but it does seem to be a fairly active year so far.
