I'm not skeptical so much about the existance of bf nor would I ever want to come off sounding like that. I know many of the members here have seen a bf so that's that. I am guilty of being the devil's advocate though and when I see photos or hear accounts of possible encounters, I think it's fair to voice opinions of what else it could have been, especially when we see folks who are new to the field and don't know their wildlife species, etc.
With the Patterson film, I've heard every argument made by both sides. What does it for me is the integrity of many of the people involved at the time. It wasn't very good at all and there is history leading up to the film. Consequently for me, they were just damn lucky that the film, in it's simplicity, turned out as good as it did. I'm the first to admit that I could be wrong but that's my opinion.
