i'm a hardcore big game hunter. i've had the pleausure of shooting a helluva lot of animals with all sorts of small and large bore rifles and have had plenty that never showed a sign of being hit until they were blood trailed down and found dead out of line of sight.
you loose any sense of respectability when you make comments that arent relative to real life scenerios.
i've had close range shots on hogs, deer, elk and even a couple of bison that either just stood there, trotted or ran off after being hit in the boiler room with quality ammunition.
IF and i say again, IF a FMJ round was used, that would make even more sense that more of a reaction wasnt seen.
the animal clearly has an anomaly in its step in a couple of sections of the film. no one but the people involved know exactly what went on.
