Lack of fire and known tools would put them, in our society, as being feral...as far as being "just" an animal...you can ask any good researcher who has some idea about these creatures how smart they are...there is not an animal known we can attribute some of the actions taken by these creatures...not being able to get clear photos...what animal do we know of that we can't get clear quality pictures of?...none that I am aware of...cutting my feeder ropes, taking the cut down feeder and either carrying or dragging the feeder into the woods...this drives me nuts and BTW...when the rope isn't cut the limb the feeder is hung on is broken...limbs we have swung on to make sure it took something large and heavy to break the limbs...

When I fed in the bottoms on a regular basis I would find blue jay and cardinal feathers on the trail I walked to the plot...I can't think of one animal that would do this...if a cat was getting the birds why would they always leave the feathers scattered down the trail?...also stick formations like the below...hard to believe any known animal is capable of doing this...

The list is long that makes not just me but all others I'm associated with scratch their heads...

I'm not ready to say these are some type of humans killed at Bluff Creek just "yet"...but no doubt something strange kept these men from bringing out a corpse for discovery...
