      Possible other clue?

      While leaves in the surrounding area are generally laying flat....there are two or three leaves at the right edge of this indentation which stand on their edge - as if something stepped on the edge of the leaves, causing one end to stand up as the other edge is pressed down.

      I'm not a tracker....but I think that's what I see.
