Monster Hunter Posted Oct 3, 2009 8:53 AM 30 to 35 feet just isn't far enough...we had an excellent camera system a few years back...but the camera and IR were only good at about 30 to 35 feet...to close to the food plot...the IR was DC voltage and smelled, I could smell it, after it burned all night...I firmly believe that a person with a thermal recording device could get video of the Monsters at one of the food plots...but...the equipment has to be a minimum of 100 feet from the plot...200 would be much better...BTW...females and young are more apt to come to the food plots but I firmly believe the male is cutting them down...
