Ability does count

If a 15 year old is an impact player and can contribute greatly to the U19 team then he has earned his spot as far as I am concerned, however I think that we can all agree that if he is not playing too much then why would you not let him play in the U16 with his peers given the opportunity. Kids still have a right to try out at a higher category (that fundamental right should never be taken or dictated to them),but he should be in the top part of the team. If a 17 year old and a 15 year old are of equal calibre (and I am not talking 1 & 2 on your depth chart here) then let the 15 year old play and get more field time to develop. I think this we can all agree on..
