If you make a donation to the Canadian Breast Cancer
Foundation, please mention "lacrosse" in a note with
the donation. At my request, in memory of my wife
Brenda, the CBCF will then direct the funds to a
facility seeking a "cure", rather than a "control".

As always, a well thought out response Tsitshoh. I agree with your comments and just want to add that, for almost all of the volunteers that are involved in Field lacrosse this only represents about half of our involvement in lacrosse. This may be stating the obvious but almost everyone of us is also heavily involed in getting our Box seasons going too. Whether it's coachimg teams or doing the many tasks involved in running an organization, this is without a doubt the most challenging time of the year. It sounds like Bob has been there too and I can certainly understand his frustration. Going through this conflict year after year can be extremely taxing on one's time and energy. If I felt we were making progress on the Field side I'd be happier about sticking it out but for one, I am quite happy when the season is over so I can concentrate on Box lacrosse. Fundemental changes are required in my opinion. I welcomed the discussion last year about changing the time of the Field season. I understand most of the concerns but something has to be done or we will continue to have heavily stressed volunteers which is only making the sport look bad to many newcomers.
