If you make a donation to the Canadian Breast Cancer
Foundation, please mention "lacrosse" in a note with
the donation. At my request, in memory of my wife
Brenda, the CBCF will then direct the funds to a
facility seeking a "cure", rather than a "control".

here is what really sets me off. One year schedule came out, alot of teams were playing back to back games, I commented about that on this site in a very polite way, and got the typical, well then volunteer you time, you think you can do a better job stuff etc. So, I grabbed the schedule, fixed it in 15 mins where there were no back to back games, home teams had the earlier games, centers that travelled had later and all that.

I submitted it back to help and said here, take a look.

Did I get a thankyou I will take a look, or great, that looks much better. Nope, an email was sent to person that ran field in my organization lambasting me, and telling me basically to not talk directly to the scheduler.

So, out of that, I had flashbacks, recalling how it just seems in this league and lacrosse in general that people just can't seem to swallow their pride, and except that maybe, just maybe there are people out there with good ideas.

We have seen it on this site, the negative posts are responded to by the executive, the positive ones, with ideas seem to get ignored.

There has always been an issue in this league about a small group wanting to keep control at all costs, and that imo is where the problem lies.

This league and the people responsible for running it is the sole reason I have given up on this sport all together, and I bet I am not the only one. Part of me feels empty that I am done, but it has been nice to have a group of carefree weekends back.
