Story within the story...

She:kon!

The Oshawa Blue Knight II win yesterday is a story about team play - the sacrifices players make to ensure the team 'vision' is the one that ultimately prevails when it counts the most.  From where I was sitting yesterday, that is where things ended up when the final whistle blew in the final game.  It was a team win and everyone made a contribution to the year.  However, when all is said and done, there is one inividual story that is too impressive to resist.

#10 Trevor Cyr is a first year Blue Knight.  Not only was Trevor a member of the U19 Provincial B champ Blue Knights, but he was also a member of the Clarington Gaels Provincial champ minor field and box teams.  And to top it off, he was a member of the National champ Team Ontario in U16 field.  3 provincial and 1 national championship in one year is what I would call a pretty damned good year!  Congrats Trevor!
