I am thinking that you are referring to club leagues and not schools.  Traditionally, field lacrosse in the Spring is for minors (U16 and under) and for high schools.  There may be pick-up leagues however.   Junior Men (U19) and Senior Men are played in the Fall.

There are travel clubs like Edge, that might play some Spring tournament or exhibition games.
