I would like to just point out a couple of facts that living in America you would not have access to.
This site is based around startling government rape figures that where released last year.
The figures where percentage rape figures that showed rape in each country across Europe, but because of there potential entry to the EU included Turkey.
The figures where calibrated against population and included tourist rapes as well. The figures showed that as a female white tourist in Turkey you had a 19% greater chance of being raped in Turkey than any of the others, putting Turkey head of the league table way ahead of Greece.
Now I work for many national rape charities and have access to many UK rape figures. We have found that there are is also an alarming number of women each year who return from a holiday in Turkey who have been raped but the authorities are unable or unwilling to do anything about it.
We took these un-reported rape figures and merged them into the reported tourist rape figures and what we managed to show is that you have an 29% greater chance as a white female tourist of being raped in Turkey that any other country in the EU.
We went to Turkeys Tourist area’s last summer to investigate and found not only was there many out of date laws still in place and being enforced that made it very difficult to report a rape as a tourist (many in contradiction of EU human rights policies), but much damming evidence of organized tourist rape clubs, some who even had police officers as members.
They used mobile phones and vans, to coordinate themselves and false promises drugs and alcohol to lure and subdue there victims. Often ending up in vicious gang rapes in unfrequented areas.
We also interviewed thousands of Turkish men using psychological isometric surveys. These showed that an overwhelming majority of those interviewed had a great preference for fair skinned British women over there native women, many admitted it directly and even tried to chat up our British researchers into having sex with them.
They also had an attitude that British women who came to Turkey just came for sex with Turkish men and that they should feel lucky to have been granted the honor of having sex with Turkish men.
Now as an American Turk you would not have access to these figures, so I accept that you did not understand, because you where not in possession of all the correct facts.
However, rest assured, we are now working with Turkish authorities, who admit there is a problem of this in the Tourist area’s to minimize the problem and change the cultural ethos towards these, white tourists.
