fasolaki1:
just calle dfor a minute? talking to teh kids? do yo talk in russain tigether or is his greek good too?

guest_Penelope:
what are you implying ? It's not a religious thing. It's something all das have about their sons in Law, they do not like them

guest_Penelope:
we always talk russian at home. No he talked to me for a minute, the kids are in bed

guest_Penelope:
He is back in a couple of weeks, for his R&R

fasolaki1:
do you have a lot of russian friends?

guest_Penelope:
yes. My best friends are Russians actually

fasolaki1:
yes its true... paul will alwasy be the 'kotchinotrixos' to my father

guest_Penelope:
One of them is living in St Petersburg, we communicate every day via e-mail.

fasolaki1:
i sensed youwere a different sort of cypriot

guest_Penelope:
why ?

fasolaki1:
cus hes the son in law nad he didnt choose him for me

fasolaki1:
oh why your a different cypriot? i dunno...cant put my finger on it, just a feeling

guest_Penelope:
my husband says that i am typical cyrpiot

guest_Penelope:
he likes to joke a lot about us. He says we are incredible, but then its a characteristic of all small nations. Too ambitious

fasolaki1:
well i think you cnat study in russia and marry a russian and after 30 years still be a typical cypriot... but he would know better

fasolaki1:
i am sure he is envious of the small nation

guest_Penelope:
some things do not change kori... I think he is right.

fasolaki1:
no, we msut be more ambitious... but not in all ways

guest_Penelope:
you are too mature for your age... You are very young, aren't you ?

fasolaki1:
im 27 penny.

fasolaki1:
middle aged almost

guest_Penelope:
well that's quite young my dear

fasolaki1:
yes, still many gand schemes to carry out

fasolaki1:
*grand

guest_Penelope:
what kind of schemes ?

guest_Penelope:
projects ?

fasolaki1:
no, not like that... just the types of big plans young people have before they grow up

guest_Penelope:
aaa... yes. The more and the more ambitious the better

fasolaki1:
yousaid your oldest is in his 20s already right?

guest_Penelope:
You can achieve everything in life. If you really want to. And are concentrated to what you are doing.

guest_Penelope:
Yes, Markos. He is 23

fasolaki1:
do you work as well penny?

guest_Penelope:
He is in New York in CUNY

guest_Penelope:
yes, i run our construction company, a small one.

fasolaki1:
just nearby... whats he studying?

fasolaki1:
so, 4 kids, a contruction company and forum queen

guest_Penelope:
he was on Computer Science for 2 years , now he transfered in Civil Engineering.

fasolaki1:
mommy is his hero i guess

guest_Penelope:
I am telling you, i 've got tears in my eyes right now. I don't know when he got that big, he was a little boy until very recently.

guest_Penelope:
When you 'l have kids, try to value every moment with them, they grow up so fast

fasolaki1:
im sure hes doing fine penny! and he will be home soon jsut be proud

guest_Penelope:
oh yes, he is a fine boy

fasolaki1:
ok i'll try when i do! i just dont liek diapers

guest_Penelope:
hehe, let Paul do the dirty work

guest_Penelope:
this is what's great with us marrying foreigners, a cypriot will never change baby's diapers

fasolaki1:
well, i figure if i have to carry it for 9 months, feed it for ayear, teh least he could do is clean it he promises to do so

fasolaki1:
thats why my motehr loves paul more than she loves me. He is definitely NOT a cypriot male

guest_Penelope:
hehe, right !

fasolaki1:
is your husband a bit better thn cypriot husbands?

guest_Penelope:
yes, this is true, my mom also adores my husband...

guest_Penelope:
He is THE perfect husband fasolaki !

fasolaki1:
good for you! nice catch studying in russia... i hope he dooesnt drink too much vodka

guest_Penelope:
He doesn't drink, he doesn't smoke, he doesn't like to mess with other women, he is a hard worker, he gives me every penny he makes.

guest_Penelope:
TOO BLOODY PERFECT ))

fasolaki1:
wow! Im sending paul for lessons

guest_Penelope:
hahaha

guest_Penelope:
what is Paul like ?

fasolaki1:
yes cyprus needs more of those i think. If teh men in my family are any indication

fasolaki1:
Well, paul doesnt drink, doesnt smoke, woorks hard, and is basically perfect too. My moterh says oit ienai polis mou

fasolaki1:
and kids looove him

guest_Penelope:
great Fasolaki. I wish you happiness. It is all in your hands you know

guest_Penelope:
it is always in woman's hands

fasolaki1:
yes, i hope to not make stupid mistakes. my specialty

fasolaki1:
why in the womans hands?

guest_Penelope:
This is what i have learned in my life. If the woman wants something she can do it.

guest_Penelope:
If you lead your man in a correct way you will have a good life. You must be wise.

fasolaki1:
intersting... i can usually get waht i want i didnt know it was universal

fasolaki1:
yes, tehy are a bit liek children that need to be lead on the proper path

guest_Penelope:
Basically be yourself. But also think before make serious decisions about the family or whatever.

guest_Penelope:
Men do not always know what they want. They have to be reminded all the time

guest_Penelope:
How old is Paul ?

fasolaki1:
good advice! i will keep youposted afetr the wedding if he is still perfect

fasolaki1:
hes 27 too, but a few months younger

guest_Penelope:
hmmm... that's a small disadvantage. But it can be cured if you work a bit harder.

fasolaki1:
ok, ill make sure he matures quickly

fasolaki1:
how old is youryoungest child?

guest_Penelope:
8

fasolaki1:
and soon grandkids i bet

fasolaki1:
thats a big range in age 8-24

fasolaki1:

guest_Penelope:
hahaha

guest_Penelope:
no ! actually she was so embarrassed )) i felt sorry for her

fasolaki1:
i dont knwo why they even have to go looking on th einetrnet in cyprus... teh beaches are topless

fasolaki1:
it was a daughetr? i assumed it was a son

fasolaki1:
he jsut wanted a biology lesson tahts all

guest_Penelope:
well, we had Markos while i was still a student, and then thought that we do not want more kids, until 10 years later when we had Maria, then a year later Alex and the Vassili.

guest_Penelope:
it was not exactly THAT planned ))

fasolaki1:
one girl , she is teh queen then i bet. Well nothing is planned. All three of my friends kids were accidents

guest_Penelope:
hey, i love chatting with you fas. but it's really late here.

fasolaki1:
