San Marco Gigante in rose gold with silver dial. This is a limited edition of 300 pieces, scheduled to arrive in June. It has the same exquisite guilloche work as the platinum version, though the dial is silver rather than anthracite. The hands are gold, though they appear black due to a reflection in this picture This watch, and the platinum version, are COSC certified chronometers. MSRP $8900.

Wilson's Planetarium with bracelet

March 17 2003, 4:12 AM

Here I post some pics of Wilson's Planetarium watch. I especially like the gold bracelet, which has a very unusual shape. I did not even know that this bracelet for the Planetarium existed. Thanks a lot for the pics, Wilson!

These pics nicely show the beautiful blue shine of the galvanized planets' rings.

The movement is chased by an artist's hand, and the 18k white gold rotor is skeletonized.

If the bracelet's unique links are solid gold, it must be rather heavy.

Limited Edition Perpetual GMT (pink gold), by Stephen

March 17 2003, 6:33 AM

ctually, the pics were made by the dealer Stephen bought the watch from, but I hope he would not mind me showing them here. They are really beautiful!

The pink dial of the limited edition is really stunning!

However, the beautifully finished movement is an optical highlight, too:

Maxi Marine Chronometer: black dial, SS and 18k pink gold

June 29 2003, 3:59 PM

Here are Dave Piccione's pics of the new Maxi Marine Chronometer.

First of all, the stunning black-faced chronometer with steel case:

And here is the beautiful and elegant combo of black dial with 18k pink gold. This watch seems to be very popular already!

My sincere thanks to Dave!

GMT Big Date pink gold, limited edition

July 8 2003, 3:56 PM

Thanks to Dave Piccione, I can show his wonderful pics of a wonderful - and rarely seen - watch: The limited edition GMT Big Date in 18k pink gold, with a pink/rosé/copper (how should I name it - but see for yourself!) guilloche dial. This edition was limited to 100 watches and certainly looks stunning.

In particular, I love the contrast between the blued hands and markers and the pink/rosé/copper dial.

Thanks, Dave!

"Blue Max" in pink gold

July 12 2003, 3:41 PM

My sincerest thanks to Dave Piccione, who was so kind to share his fabulous pics:

As you can see, only 350 were made in this configuration. For more info on the "Blue Max", please read the "Peek Review" here:

Freak pink gold, large pics!

August 31 2003, 3:33 PM

Due to the halogen lighting and the bad colour temperature correction, the dark blue of the "dial" and the screws looks black - but IMO, this "error" results in quite a stunning appearance.

Hope you like the pics!

Marine Perpetual Limited

August 31 2003, 3:35 PM

This watch is incredibly popular, and the reasons are very apparent, once the spectator has caught sight of the marvelous lacquered dial:

In this pic, the translucent lacquer does not show up so prominently as it does in reality. But on the other hand, the beautiful guilloche pattern beneath it is very apparent.

The two wrist shots following reveil two things:
The watch is big (43mm diameter), and the blue colour is changing, depending on the light falling on it.
