Response to Building headers/bending tubing &/or plastic rod
My son & I are building a Pine Wood Derby car based on the below Hot Wheel

& as you can see the headers are a must to the design. Not sure if solder would hold up to the riggors of competition, but I'm definantly going to look at it as an option.
Last year we built a '56 Nomad(below) that took top honors for design & so this year we had to up the ante a bit. The Nomad was plenty difficult, but this exposed engine is proving to be an equal.Thanks again.
