I don't use urethane clear coats myself, but a number of others that post regularly on Spotlight have. Both the above mentioned brands will do better if you set them in a pan of hot water about 20 minutes before spraying. They flow out much better when heated.

Some clear over BMF some prefer not to, mostly its just personal choice. I usually do to keep the foil from lifting in the future as I have had it do in the past.

Another alternative that is safer if there is any question about paint compatibility is Future. I have never had it react to any paint its been used on.
