Not sure about that kit specifically, but the other Enthusiast kits are a lot of parts and tedious to build.
Porsche did paint the bottom of the car body color.
Probably not so much in 1969 but later years before hot tank galvanizing came along in 1976 they did have rust problems, which promoted US dealers and eventually the port to undercoat them with black rubberized coating.
Often mistaken for undercoat, there was a semi-soft sound deadener that looks like undercoating texture that was painted body color.
