... And you're 100% spot on about it being a great run. Too bad corp. greed is playing such havoc with our hobby.

I was lucky enuff to be able to purchase quite a few of the Monogram Stockers as they hit the shelves over the years, so my stash will last at least thru my Grandson's middle modeling years. Great kits, great nostalgia.

I quit watching NASCAR after Dale Sr.'s 2001 fatal crash. For me, that was kind of like the curtain coming down at the end of a play. But i have kits & decals for 7-8 of his rides (just now about to finish one of Dale's "Wheaties" rides), & hope to complete one or two a year.

Again, appreciate all of the most interesting info!
