Response to Look to be totally different vehicles

Thanks Phil,

the Mk-IV & the "J" cars were both a marked change over the 1st GT-40s (Mk I & II)

The MK-IV was derived from the failed "J" car...it appears the MK-IV front cowl/"clip" and cockpit area wasn't changed much (if at all??) from the "J". The sharks mouth/"pickle nose" of the "J" is a closer configuration to the MK-IV than was the "stock" blunt nose "J"

The "J" rear clip....was much "boxier", where the MK-IV was streamlined. but..the "J" being a box...it'll be easy to scratchbuild (I've got the old 1/25th scale MPC kit as a master to scale up......)

so If I can convince myself the MK-IV front end/cockpit are matches for the "J"......I'll scratch build the new "J" rear end.

Thanks,
LAC
