Does anyone have a really good technique on how to apply carbon fiber decals to model cars such as Enzo Ferrari 1/24th scale?

I'm trying to find a good way to pre-cut the decals correctly so that they will cover complex curved surfaces. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Alex I am a fairly new to building car models but a long time aircraft modeller.I was asking myself the same question. mM problem was the dash of a Ferrari 599GTB. I tried the making templates with Tamiya tape method but it did not work.I ended up just looking at the part and cutting and applying the decal in sections.It worked perfectly.I have a Fujimi Enzo in work and plan to use the same method.You might want to check out this website lots of good tips here.

Wow, the GTB is a beauty! You're too modest to say that you are new to modeling cars.

I'm planning on getting the ScaleMotor Sport for the 1/24 Tamiya Enzo.

The site you gave is amazing. So many neat tutorials. I like the one that shows how to achieve a flawless gloss finish.

body treatment with CF decals.........inner back fender areas, cockpit, back body hood (bonnet) etc,etc..............Twis a beautiful job!...

Perhaps someone remembers it and/or the person........IIRC he used aftermarket sets of this Carbon Fiber decal..........Would these be thinner????
