Mine Arrived Yesterday Too!

March 19 2008, 10:32 PM

From HLJ. Looks like a really nice kit. I also got the photoetched spoke set. I can't wait to start, but I want to finish the Airfix Nimrod I'm working on first.

1900 Yen For The Photo Etched Spokes...

March 20 2008, 10:14 PM

Comes to $19.07 USD! A little more than I wanted to spend, but I think they'll look great. Postage for the car and spoke set was 880 yen - $8.83 USD. Not too bad.

Cheers, Corbin

TR250 race numbers

May 4 2008, 6:58 AM

VERY nice kit, is going to be fun to build, especially with the etched wire wheels set. But ... It's not the '58 Le Mans winner (wrong body), despite having the #14s on the decal sheet. I'm hoping maybe another version is on its way, with the alternative body.
The decal sheet includes white race numbers "102" and "12", with no mention on the instructions. Anyone know what car these are appropriate for? Don't seem to apply to any Le Mans entrant, even with the kit style body.
The decal seat belts really won't do, so any recommendations for an etched set with the right style of belts?
Thanks.
