Where do you buy photo etch for cars (1/24) ?? I usually build aircrafts and tanks, but the places I usually shop dont have much for cars.

Preferably within the EU, but not necessarily.

Also - what brands are good ??

thanks
Thomas

Don't know what you're into as far as subject matter, but these guys make a lot of bits and parts. I always like to buy (do far more of that than building) American subjects from the 50s to the 70s, but also like a lot of the foreign racers...particularly Jags.

I don't know if Chimneyville Hobbies are still in business or not, but they use to have some stuff too...mostly police and fire stuff...

Good luck and good hunting!
Most of all... enjoy...

Here are some more that I know about

I'm sorry I don't know of anything in the EU, but here are some very helpful websites.

http://www.modelhaus.com/

http://resinrealm.net/Star/STARModels.html if you like american cars in any way, click on the R&R resin link and click on a marque in the righthand column to see the kits... that one's kind of tough to find. All links on this site have some interesting stuff.

http://www.tcpglobal.com/autocolorlibrary/ This one is fantastic for finding out original colors! they have the old paint chip catalogs online! You can look up by year/make to see authentic factory colors for your subject.

http://www.reliableresin.com/products.html has engines, wheels, etc and some bodies

http://www.perrysresin.com/

http://www.rocketfin.com/model_car_links.html a mother lode of model car connections
