Not interested in diecast. I need it for my camero. If there isn't one, is there any interest (demand) for one or am I building in an odd-ball scale.

I think the Doyusha / Otaki 1:12 Corvette Stingray has a 427 in it. They show up on Ebay from time to time in the $40 - $60 range. Haven't seen that particular kit, but it it compares to their other offerings, its top-notch.

I suppose the one in the Revell / Monogram 1:12 Corvette does not meet your needs?

I have AMS for this car. I was considering scratchbuilding the entire motor and casting it in resin if there was an interest in it.

Ertl makes one

I know you mentioned not wanting diecast but I thought I should mention it for those who havnt seen it. Ertl made a three pack of Corvette engines, the 1957 Fuel injected 350, 1967 Tri-power 427, and 1997 LS1. The 427 isnt perfect but its a really good base for detailing. I have one if you want pictures, measurements, etc

Hi Dave...

I actually started tonight to scratch build one. I have the real thing so I can get direct measurements. I appreciate it though!
