Was just wondering, is this a new mold or a reissue of an older kit? R/M's website is not very forthcoming with information.

I'm 98% sure its a re-issue of an older kit. All Revell has been...

doing recently, when they DO release something, has been modern cars and older cars with modern aspects ('32 Duece coupe and '49 Mercury for example). This one wouldn't be in that category.

So run you cur. And tell the other curs the law is coming. You tell 'em I'm coming! And Hell's coming with me you hear! Hell's coming with me!

Re-release of a 1960-ish kit

May 10 2009, 7:05 AM

The original offering was 3-in-one, where you could build a roadster, cabriolet or five-window coupe. The last offering, from about 2000 or so, only included the coupe option. This means the top is a separate piece from the body, leading to a bunch of clean-up of not-so-crisp mouldings.
Personally, I want the cabriolet version reinstated.

Phil
