Help with Leukemia Fundraiser

Ive taken on an incredible challenge. On January 10, 2010, I will be participating in Walt Disney World Marathon with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Societys (LLS) Team In Training (TNT) program. TNT is the worlds first, best and largest charity sports training program. Over the next 5 months I will be raising money to fund the mission of The LLS: to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. I have committed myself to the run and have agreed to raise a minimum of $2400 to help in the fight against blood cancers.

As I train for and participate in this event, I'll be doing it in honor of Hoyt Tomlinson, Sr., my father. My father was diagnosed with leukemia three years ago. Due to advancements in medical research partly funded by money raised by LLS, he has an opportunity for a long and happy life.

In order to reach my goal, I need your help. Would you please consider making a donation? You can still donate after that date as well to help me go above and beyond my goal! Keep in mind how many miles Ill cover during training; each step brings us all closer to the day when there is no such thing as blood cancer.

Without a cure, every 4 minutes someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer; every 10 minutes someone passes away. I hope that youll share in this incredible adventure with me. Thank you in advance for your generosity in giving!
