Replicating anodized paint?

Does anyone make paints with an anodized color finish for us modelers? A lot of the coolant and brake systems use anodized connectors that are really noticable on 1/12 moto kits. I'd particularly like to find a good anodized blue.

Barring a real supplier, any suggestions for a home-brew?

Thanks,

Jarvis

I'd use..

a nice deep blue with a touch of silver added. Or paint the part silver first. Mask and mist a thinned blue (or whatever the color should be) on with an airbrush.

Cheers,
Dave

Try Tamiya clear blue and clear red. Well they get back into the US.
