Tamiya produce at least 2 JPS Lotuss in 1/12 (the 72D & 78) & 3 in 1/20 (72D , 78 & the new kit of the 79) . To which one do you refer ? These are all different vehicles & are certainly not some form of generic F1 car . The 1/20 Lotus 79 is also boxed as a Martini-sponsored vehicle , but I suspect that all the others only exist in JPS livery . I dont think that the 78 raced in any colours other than JPS & , whilst the 72 first appeared in Gold Leaf Team Lotus livery , it was a rather different vehicle to the 72D variant kitted by Tamiya .
