Wehrmacht helmet: which color for a real one? February 2 2007 at 8:14 AM		(Login TelMariavos) from IP address 200.194.179.140


A friend just bought a full size replica of a German WWII helmet, and wants it in Wehrmacht color, but it looks a bit darker than the Field Gray uniform color in the most of color pictures I found. Was the helmet painted in a different shade? Which color/paint should I use to achieve the best shade of grey-green? Thank you all in advnace.
