'Nother Newbie Color Question

For my first target, ah, er, make that armor piece, I'm doing Dragon's awesome M2 Halftrack. In all the color references I can find (OK, so these are restored examples) the color looks more like RLM 02 than what I would think of as OD. Since I want to do one of the 1940 Camp Livingston LA War Game examples, I doubt the paint would have been too terribly faded.
So, the two part question is: What color should it be, and where can I find a decent match (or even a good FS equivalent)? Cuz' it sure ain't FS34087.

As an aside, for this very early version I'm scratchbuilding a pair of M1917 Browing water cooled .30cal machine guns, and having the blue/white/red insignia markings and blue drab serial numbers custom printed. Might even noodle up a couple of G.I.s in campaign hats, doughboy lids and/or blue dungarees, what with armor really going well with figures and all.
