Need info about japanese navy pilot

Hi,

I'm currently working on tamiya's 1/16 Japanese navy fighter pilot. Very nice figure BTW!!!

Since my research material about that subject is very limited and after searching the net, I couldn't find info on the subject. So, I decided to give a shot in here.

I'm not sure about the uniform's color. On the box, the fur collar is paint in black. I'm not sure about this one cause the only animal I can think of with a black fur would be a panther or a black bear.

I'm not sure that they used the fur of those animal for the collar. In my opinion, it is more like a black brown color but I'm not really sure.

Could someone help me with this info??

Also, if you could check for the color of the fur inside the helmet that would be great too.
