I have just handbrushed a coat of Humbrol flat enamel ( which I love to work with on plastic ) onto a resin model, after having first given it a thin handbrushed coat of gray acrylic paint to hopefully seal it.
Now this was yesterday, and now the enamel paint is still somewhat sticky to the touch, although it does not come off on my hands, and the finish is flat, as intended. Humbrol usually dries a lot quicker than this on plastic. Has there been a reaction between it and the resin, or do I simply need to be more patient in the drying process before I apply some oil paints for light weathering of the model? Would a spray of Dullcoat help to "seal the deal"?
Thanks for any advice / suggestions you can provide me with.
