I just happen to have the Jim Belushi version of the classic old Bogart 1943 film of the same title. While not as good as the original (when is a remake ever?) but it still stands pretty well. Filmed Down Under and with a decent cast and swarms of Afrika Korps and a nice assortment of vintage vehicles, it is a fun flick to watch.
Based on a Russian film 'The Thirteen' features a group of Allied soldiers taking on superior odds.
This should not be confused with the stinker with Brooke Shields nor the aforementioned turkey from the pen of Clive Cussler.
Curious that no one reading this, most who will watch the remake or will build the new figure kit (I just got in two and finished one set - pretty good stuff) was even alive when the Bogart film graced the silver screen.
