Hi Guys,
Just wanted to challenge some of my fellow modelers to help out a model club in Iraq. As I posted before, the Falcon Hobby Club was started a short time ago by SSG Michael Belue. He received some left over kits from the Baghdad Model Club & had his wife send over some of his stash, some modeling supplies & equipment. At one point, they had 20 kits to offer soldiers & those went fast. I have shipped yesterday 28 or so kits, modeling supplies, & a new Aztek A470 airbrush to Mike for his club.
Now here is the challenge, I don't expect anybody to match me of exceed what I have sent, its not about that. What it is about is supporting our troops. If you want to meet the challenge, then donate kits, supplies , or both. You can e-mail me for Mike's address or go to :
www.falconhobbyclub.com
to for further information. While you are there, check out their pictures.
Mike did say that they have modelers of varying intersts. He does get requests for Russian Armor but will take any kits you have to offer.
Thanks for Helping,
Steve Sliger
