      The color always seems to be controversial.

      The final finish would be a semi-gloss simply because I know the clear coat I used (Liquitex Matte Acylic Varnish) is semi-gloss (despite the word "Matte").

      I would use the "rule" of scale modelling which says nothing is really black...it's just dark grey. And if you watch the movie, you'll swear their is a slight coppery metallic although some folks claim it's just ambient light from the set affecting the appearance.

      I don't specifically recall my paint mixture but knowing my habits, I likely used a lot of black, a touch of white, and a smidge of metallic copper.
