It's still a bit unclear where Series 77 is going. I have a catalog from 198? if you want it. I have numerous 90mm Americans unpainted. Pat Bird is a super guy and treated me like a king when I stopped to visit him in 1985(?) when he was in SoCal.
I wonder how they will do in today's market now that 120mm dominates. Plus, to be honest, while nicely detailed, most Series 77 figures had really bad faces and short, dwarfish legs.
they once were. The biggest segment is, was, and will stay the 54mm figure. (altho, no way on God's green Earth I'm dropping 35 bucks for a 54mm figure!!)
Irt the series 77, IIRC, Burl had mentioned somewhere else the figs may be reworked and tweaked...((but, I will let Burl speak for himself and s77)
What a blast from the past. I used to buy these figures way back in 1980s. I have spoken with Olive and Pat many times and had great luck with their service.
I still have several of the figures primed but not painted. Several I have worked on but not for a few years. As another poster mentioned, some of the figures have odd looking faces and stunted legs. However, many of the details are spot on and the weapons and equipment are all tomp notch. I just wish they were done in resin instead of metal.
