Eyes in 1/35 versus 1/32 scale

I find that the slight difference between 1/35 scale and 1/32 scale has me copying the old Clyde Risley methods for eyes for the larger figures, with modifications. As my figures tend to be in outdoor dioramas and would narrow in sunlight I simply paint degrees of shadow for 1/35 scale figures. With magnification I could get get an eye structure onto a 1/35 scale figure, but would cover it over with shadows, so I go right to the shadows. Ideas.

TIA

Did you see the eye decals on the rotary rack at Overlea Hobbies?? Now that is cheating!
