RAF pilot uniform colours

I'm building now the Spitfire Mk.Vb from Tamiya, and I want to include the pilot figure that it comes with. However, I can't find photos of WWII RAF uniforms, and since around here there aren't any places that sell Tamiya paint, I can't do the mix from the instructions. Any sugerences of which colors I should use (around here, most shops carry Vallejo and Model Master paints, and some have Humbrol too)?

Hi,

Humbrol Azure Blue would be a nice base. And with some darkening MM PRU blue can work.

If I recall correctly the Tamyia pilot is wearing an Irving Jacket and what looks like a B helmet so not so much of his legs (uniform) are visible.

If I may add, The Irvin Jacket was dyed a darker brown than the flying gloves.

Hope this helps

John
